2011 Another Record Year for HSR of High Save, at Low Cost

Last year, a remarkable 98% of the dogs and 96% of the cats who entered HSR shelter doors as strays or surrenders, were adopted into new homes or returned to their owners.

What’s more, we've achieved this impressive save rate while maintaining one of the lowest costs per animal in the state.

This success is only possible together - through the tireless work of our Shelter Friend community - dedicated staff, passionate volunteers, generous donors and business supporters - all sharing a commitment to the belief that Every One deserves a chance.

With your help and continued support in 2012 – we will continue this mission, and work even harder toward a sustainable, and forever future of the HSR organization as an essential resource for our community.
